That being said, I could not have picked anyone better for the orthodontic side of things than Dr. Bruner. Not once did I feel like he wasn't in my corner trying to get things done as quickly as possible, and I never felt like I didn't understand why he was doing what he was doing. His office communicated with the surgeon and made the transition into and out of surgery seamless. Although I may not have enjoyed having braces, I certainly enjoyed coming into his office, where his awesome staff made everything more fun. However, although these people were some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and I am completely elated by the results, these were not the qualities that stood out to me the most. What sets this place apart was that I was always treated as if I was capable of understanding what was going on. Because of my age, I have had experience with people in the medical field trying to either dumb everything down to preschool level or keep me out of the loop entirely. I do not pretend to know the first thing about orthodontia, but I was never treated as if I was incapable of doing so. Overall, I cannot express how impressed I am with this facility, and how thankful I am that I was able to come here. Each day I was greeted with the ready Bruner smiles of the hygienists and the very humor of Dr. Bruner himself. I hope though, that I do not offend anyone in being thankful that it's all over!"
