Dr. Bruner Gives Back to the Greater Eastside Jr. Football Association

According to the National Youth Sports Foundation, more than five million teeth are knocked out in athletic events each year. Athletes who do not wear protective mouthguards are 60 times more likely to damage their teeth. In a recent study published by the American Association of Orthodontics, 67 percent of parents admitted their child does not wear a mouthguard during organized sports.

This week, the Redmond Junior Mustangs players (members of the Greater Eastside Jr. Football Association) stopped by the office to receive their free custom fitted mouthguard from Dr. Bruner. Many of the players are patients of his and Dr. Bruner has always made it a mission to give back to those communities that have supported him and his business over the years.MG1

Wearing a mouth guard is a simple and effective way to prevent injuries. We here at Bruner Orthodontics hope that by educating the community and providing these professionally fitted mouth guards, we can help reduce the risk of injury to the mouths of our young athletes.

Dr. Bruner and the team at Bruner Orthodontics are committed to building meaningful relationships with our patients as well as providing the best care. Take a look at what makes us unique and what some of our patients have to say about their experience here.
