As short as possible! Keep in mind that Dr. Bruner and the entire staff at Bruner Orthodontics are singularly focused on trying to help you achieve the best results possible! Everyone’s smile is unique and customized to you…this is same situation for your orthodontic treatment.  We use a special bracket system called, The Damon System. This system specializes in shortening treatment time and being more comfortable than traditional braces.

Treatment time will also depend on your specific situation as well. Very minimal amounts of tooth movement may only take a few months to correct, while serious malocclusion (poor bite) may need more than two years to correct. Only Dr. Bruner will be able to accurately gage what your treatment will entail and estimate how long it will take. YOU also will play a big part in this as well! Wearing elastics, good oral hygiene and no broken brackets will help keep your treatment plan on track. Refer back to our “No-No Foods List” if you are wondering what foods should be avoided.
